The Technical Protocol on Protected Cultivation of Strawberry Variety Hongxing, submitted by the Institute of Shijiazhuang Fruit Tree, was approved on 26 October of 2019 as provincial standard of Hebei.
This standard, established on sufficient theoretical foundation, with all scientifically accurate and reasonable technical data, takes the leading level of the similar techniques in China and can be recommended to apply in the production of strawberry Hongxing. The adoption of this technical protocol will further standardize the production of Hongxing under protected conditions in Hebei province, so as to improve the fruit quality and boost the sound development of Hebei’s strawberry industry.
The evaluation panel, consisting of relevant experts from Hebei Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Hebei Agricultural University, Institute of Agricultural Information and Economics of HAAFS, Hebei General Station of Pesticides Determination and Supervision, Strawberry Research Institute of Baoding, carefully reviewed and amended the text sentence by sentence after listening to the work report of the submitting unit. Finally, the experts at meeting all agreed to accept the technical protocol.
