Recently, the international mainstream journal Frontiers in Plant Science (2021 impact factor 6.627) published a paper entitled "Characteristics and regulating roles of wheat tahsfa2-13 in abiotic stresses" by the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Science of HAAFS.( )This study enriches the understanding of wheat heat shock transcription factors and provids new target genes for improving wheat stress resistance.

Transcription factors are downstream components of signal transduction and play an indispensable role in the regulation of plants in response to a variety of abiotic stresses. There are many members of the heat shock transcription factor family in wheat. Compared with other plants, the relevant research progress is slow, and the biological function is still unclear. This paper explores the biological function of wheat tahsfa2-13, expounds the important role of this gene in responding to a variety of abiotic stresses and plant hormones, and explains that different signal pathways share the same signal molecules under certain conditions.
