On July 21, the field implementation effect of ‘key technology of peach tree green production’ developed by Institute of Plant Protection was tested at the demonstration site. The technology project leader Li Jiancheng introduced the organization and implementation of the project. The member of the project Ma Aihong introduced the key points and the implementation effect of the green prevention and control technology of peach tree diseases and pests. Wang Liying, a researcher from Institute of Agricultural Resources and Environment, introduced the key points of the green and high-quality fertilization technology in peach orchard and its effect on fruit quality improvement. Ma Zhisheng, a researcher from Institute of Shijiazhuang Fruit Tree, gave the details of characteristics and growth status of the introduced peach varieties.
The core area of the demonstration site was about 233 hectares. The test results shows that, by using the comprehensive prevention and control technology for oriental fruit moth(grapholitha molesta), of which the core is the bio-control technology(mating disruption and natural enemy release) and the environmental friendly chemical control technology as the supplement, the disruption rate reached 100%, the shoot breaking rate decreased by 63.35%, and the rate of fruit damaged by worms decreased by 88.91%; by using the green and high-quality fertilization technology with the core of increasing organic fertilizer, applying precise fertigation and combining application of medium and trace elements, the chemical fertilizer application was reduced by 27.20%, the content of fruit soluble solid was increased by 0.88%, and the fruit hardness was increased by 9.30%; the 21 peach varieties introduced, such as ‘Meijin’ and ‘Meiting’, grew well and were suitable for the local ecological conditions.
