TaHsfA2i is a heat shock transcription factor gene isolated by the Institute of Genetics and Physiology of HAAFS. The patent application, authorized on Feb. 26 of 2020, published the nucleotide sequence of the patented gene and the amino acid sequence of the gene’s coding protein. With any carrier that can mediate the expression of exogenous genes in plants, the TaHsfA2i transgenic microorganism and plants show better thermotolerance. This patent will be of great application value in improving the thermotolerance of wheat by providing important gene source for molecular breeding of heat tolerant wheat varieties.
